Harriet Travers (1818-) married Edmund Boulton (abt 1808-) in 1838. He was a silk hat maker. In the 1851 and 1861 Census they lived at 1 Clare Street. This is the same residence that Harriet's father, Matthew Travers, inherited from his father William Travers (1753-1816). Harriet and Edmund had three children including Elizabeth Ann (3 Jun 1840-), Edmund (abt 1846-) and Robert (abt 1849-). Further evidence that links this family to William Travers (1753-1816) and his first wife Frances is that William's son, Robert Wilson Travers died 25 Nov 1870 at 7 Laurel Place with Edmund Bolton present at his death. It is not clear if this is the father Edmund or the son Edmund. In the 1871 Census Harriet and Edmund had moved to 7 Laurel Place. By the the 1881 Census they had adopted another child who was now fifteen years old at the time. At the GRO there is a registry entry for Harriet Boulton who died in Hackney in September 1885 at age 67. There is an 1881 Census record for Robert Boulton, age 31 married to Mary Ann, age 23 in Hackney.

William Travers married Mary Ann Hornsbury (abt 1829-) on 3 Jun 1850 at Saint Matthew, Bethnal Green. His occupation was shoemaker. Mary Ann was a shoe binder.
    They had eight children:

    a. Elizabeth Travers (abt 1849-)

    b. Mary Ann Harriet Travers (abt 1851-)
According to the IGI and the GRO there is a Mary Ann Harriet Travers who married Charles Eady on the 6 Jan 1878 at Saint Matthew, Bethnal Green.

    c. Henry William Matthew Travers (20 Oct 1852-)
Henry William Travers who married Esther Barnard on 25 Jun 1877 at the Parish Church of St. Judes, Bethnal Green, Middlesex and had six children.
According to the 1881 Census, Henry William Travers (abt 1852-), green grocer, along with Esther (abt 1853-) and their two daughters Esther (abt 1873-) and Alice Mary (abt 1880-) lived at 6 Victoria Road, Hackney. In 1891 there is an entry for Henry W Travers and Esther.
